Art by David Hurwitz returns to the Artist for Kids' Culture Art Auction.

The 2019 Artist for Kids' Culture Art Auction at the Park will see 80 artworks donated by the best of the Australian art scene, go under the hammer for an amazing cause, helping vulnerable kids participate in meaningful art, cultural and sport activities.

Many of the Artist for Kids' Culture grant recipients come from unstable homes and have experienced abuse or trauma in their lives . AKC grants benefit children aged between 5 – 18 in artistic pursuits, music, dance, drama and film, sport, community projects and educational assistance.

David Hurwitz has supported this not-for-profit project in past years by donating an artwork from his collection. This year another original piece by Hurwitz will be up for auction amongst works by Lewis Miller, Jenny Watson, Lisa Roet, Andrew Taylor, Sally Smart, Mark Schaller, David Larwill and many more.

The event is being held at The Park Melbourne, 36 Lakeside Dr, Albert Park VIC 3206 on Thursday 17 October 2019 at 6.30pm. Tickets are available online.

Special guests for the event include Michala Banas, Dylan Lewis, Brian Nankervis & Toby Truslove with music by Sweet Jean.
